"MEMOIRS AND OBSERVATIONS OF THE 20TH CENTURY"
The illustrations in “Memoirs and Observations of the 20th century” were created between 1972 and 1982.
Beny, left them compiled in a book format divided in four chapters: The World, Desire, Relationships and the Epilogue.
These images represent a wordless narrative about the world and human relationships, at the crossing of the sarcastic and the deeply philosophical. While they express an outcry against war and the critique to a conditioned way of life product of society’s soulless technological progress and an economic system fueled by an unsustainable way of life.
